A luxurious viscose / silk blend velvet in black from a luxury heritage French mill, Bouton Renaud. This super soft velvet has a super dense viscose pile with a subtle lustre, woven on a matt silk base. A fluid non-stretch fabric with a lovely weight and drape making it perfect for dresses, tops and lightweight jackets. The fabric has a short yet noticeable pile so care needs to be taken when placing pattern pieces that the nap is all facing the same way.

Please note, although extra care is taken when cutting & packing this fabric, silk velvet is a delicate fabric and some bruising may occur in transit due to the transport handling that is outside our control. We would recommend that you unpack your order upon arrival and store it rolled, rather than folded. No returns will be accepted on bruised fabric.
