A deadstock pure merino in black. The heavyweight fabric has been knitted in a loopback sweatshirting with a smooth, flat face and loopback reverse. A unique version of a sweatshirting where the loops are slanted in a twill like structure in opposing alternate stripes creating a herringbone effect. A cosy fabric with soft drape, opaque, matt finish. Merino wool is an amazing trans-seasonal fabric thanks to its unique thermal properties. Merino wool fibres have a natural crimp, which traps air and acts as a fantastic insulator, while its moisture-wicking and odour-resistant properties draw sweat away from the skin, keeping you dry and comfortable. Merino is super soft due to its superfine, hypoallergenic fibre. A great machine washable choice for a variety of garments.
