The pure cotton Liberty Tana Lawn - Tapestry Hearts in tones of navy, teal, mint, yellow and cream. The very first trace of this design dates from c.1912, when it would have been printed by wood block at Liberty’s Merton Printworks. Appearing in several of the archive books and collections up until the early 1980s, Tapestry Hearts has proven to be an enduring and timeless pattern. Reminiscent of hand-woven tapestry motifs, it was reimagined in new, richly-hued colourways. A super fine, tightly woven plain weave cotton with no stretch and a matt, semi-translucent finish.

Printed in the Liberty Printing Mill, located between Milan and Lake Como in northern Italy, Tana realises unmatchable fluidity with a silk-like touch, unique print quality and striking colour vibrancy. Machine washable and durable enough for daily wear, it can be used to create everything from simple separates to spectacular statement pieces.
